Compression molding
Compression molding, also known as molding, is a molding process in which a molding compound is pressurized (generally still heated) in a closed cavity.
Lamination molding
A method of combining two or more layers of the same or different materials as a whole by heating or pressurizing with or without an adhesive.
Cold press molding
Cold press molding, also known as cold press sintering, differs from conventional compression molding in that the material is pressure molded at normal temperature.
Transfer molding
Transfer molding is a molding method of thermosetting plastic. When molding, the molding compound is heated and softened in a heating chamber, and then pressed into a heated cavity to be solidified.
Extrusion
Extrusion molding, also known as extrusion molding or extrusion, is a method in which a material is continuously passed through a die by a heating and pressurization in an extruder.
Pultrusion
Pultrusion molding is one of the molding methods of thermosetting fiber reinforced plastics. It is used for the production of profiles with fixed cross-section shapes and unlimited length.
Injection molding
Injection molding (injection molding) is a method in which a thermoplastic or thermosetting molding compound is uniformly plasticized in a heating cylinder and then pushed by a plunger or a moving screw into a cavity of a closed mold.
Blow molding
A method in which a hot parison closed in a mold is inflated into a hollow article by gas pressure, or a tubular parison is inflated into a tubular film.
casting
A method of injecting a liquid monomer, a resin, or a mixture thereof into a mold and making it into a solid product without pressurization or a slight pressurization.
Hand lay-up
Hand lay-up molding, also known as manual paste molding and contact molding, is one of the methods for manufacturing reinforced plastic products.
Filament winding
The reinforced plastic article is molded by winding a continuous filament impregnated with a resin glue onto a mandrel or a mold under conditions of controlled tension and a predetermined line type.
Calendering
The thermoplastic is passed through a series of heated press rolls to bond it into a film or sheet by extrusion and stretching.
Coating
For the purpose of anticorrosion, insulation, decoration, etc., a method of coating a thin layer of plastic (for example, 0.3 mm or less) on the surface of an object such as a fabric, paper, metal foil or board in the form of liquid or powder.

Foam molding is the process of creating a microporous structure in plastics. Almost all thermosetting and thermoplastics can be made into foams. Commonly used resins are polystyrene, polyurethane, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, urea formaldehyde, phenolic and the like.
